Manuel Canovas x Chloé Nègre

Carte blanche

Manuel Canovas invites us to stage his new 2023 collection in his showroom in Saint-Germain-des-prés.

It's in the Manuel Canovas showroom on the Rive Gauche that our two worlds meet to rethink the space and windows for Paris Déco Off. Chloé Nègre has come up with a singular and joyful scenography that combines her furniture and object creations and showcases the new Manuel Canovas collection of fabrics and trimmings.

Stepping inside the Paris showroom, we are immediately submerged into the universe of Chloé Nègre.

The new Oscar linen and Portofino stripes contrast dramatically with the iconic Chloé Nègre furniture in an unexpectedly colourful display.

The Colombe sofa, with its enveloping curves, is adorned with the Gloria bouclette in navy blue, combined with the exotic Palmaria fabric in Emerald.

The Nymphéa floor lamp is presented in deep blue lacquered rattan, with Croisette fabric and Clery trimmings on the lampshade.

The Carciofi footstool features Oscar Outremer fabric and Romane ribbons, while the elliptical Puntarella coffee table designed by Chloé Nègre was created by artist Amandine Antunez.

Her handcrafted work in stucco marble features designs and motifs in hypnotic colours.

At the heart of the windows at 6 rue de l'abbaye, we discover the majestic Cyprès screen accompanied by the Primavera side table in gloss lacquer, in front of a set of curtains made from Koti, Titus, Portofino, Quito and Croisette fabrics. The Belle de Nuit and Belle de Jour bedside tables are accompanied by a set of soft cushions created in patterned fabrics from the new collection: Titus, Gloria, Tobago, Fiorella and Oscar.

Chloé Nègre has called on other lovers of colour and design: Marguerite Lemaire, known for her signature rugs, and the Amélie Maison d'Art gallery, whose works elegantly complete the set. The pieces are made to measure and can be customised in size, colour and fabric. Contact us at collection@chloenegre.com for more information.
